A private podcast for women with chronic illness

From “I’m sick” to “I’m healing” in 7 days.

So your symptoms stop consuming and derailing your day.

Can you imagine waking up and the first thing you think about isn't your symptoms? It's the plans you've got tonight that you're not going to cancel.

In 7 days, you'll stop tiptoeing through your day to avoid a flare and start moving through it like someone who isn't at war with her body anymore.

Day 1: Letting Go of the Identity That's Keeping You Sick

What can you expect?

1

The noise in your head gets quieter and the fear loses its grip.

When a sensation shows up, you don't spiral. Instead of six tabs open and forty minutes gone googling everything it could be, you notice it, you keep going and stay in control of your day.

2

Your whole day stops getting built around your body.

Instead of preempting what you can and can't handle before you've even got out of bed, you start making plans and stop shrinking your life around what your body might do. You start getting back to the things you love, without waiting to feel perfect first.

3

That 3am thought, “What if this is just my life now?” stops being the thing you wake up to.

You start to believe something can actually be different, even after everything you've tried that didn't hold.

“If deep down, you still see yourself as a sick person, fragile, stuck, struggling, your brain will keep looking for ways to confirm that story.”

Still wondering if this is right for you?

Let's break down what might be holding you back.

I've tried mindset stuff before and it didn't stick.

This 7-day series works because it doesn't focus on fixing your symptoms. It shifts the patterns that have been reinforcing them. You start by changing how you see yourself, then align your thoughts, behaviors and daily choices with the version of you who moves toward healing. That's what creates momentum and why so many women finally start seeing real progress after feeling stuck for years.

I don't have the energy for another thing.

Each day is one episode and one simple practice. You can listen from bed, on a walk or in the car. And every episode is yours for 365 days, so there's no falling behind and no catching up.

Isn't this just positive thinking?

Positive thinking sits on top of an identity that still sees itself as sick. Your brain filters everything through who you believe you are. It's the same reason that once you decide you want a certain car, you suddenly see it everywhere. If deep down your identity is “I'm sick,” your brain keeps finding proof of it. This series shifts the identity underneath, so your brain starts noticing something different.

Real women. Real results.

What women are saying about the series

It was a real eye opener for me to see how I was relating to myself as a sick person... consumed with micro managing, obsessing over symptoms, strategizing and searching for cures.
I saw clearly how it was keeping me stuck and actually perpetuating the whole sick loop!
With the lessons I shifted my thinking and approach which gave me a whole new perspective. And, I started showing up differently, like how a healed person would!
I notice I am way less focused on how I feel, more relaxed and catch myself when I slip into habits that don’t support my new healed version.
I am so grateful to be relating to myself in a more empowered way. What a difference this has made for me, thank you!

Tecla’s podcast was clear, thought out and supported with examples and solid feasible suggestions to move on. Tecla provides guidance on how to take manageable first steps and action in what can be very daunting and exhausting territory. After I listened to the podcast, I felt much greater will and determination to start hacking away and further explore this piece of my life and how it connects to the rest of me. I am already more conscious of what I tell myself when I feel pre-symptoms.
As a result of the podcast, I am now picking up on and mindful of the occasions in my day when I am evaluating the state of my health issues.... It is a great way to focus myself on something I don’t really get excited about doing as there is so much negative energy around my gut health. But when I listened to the podcast it gave me things to think about and made me charged up to act rather than wallow. I will be going back and re-listening to the podcast to capture more from it.

Becoming the version of you that heals’ is a great taster for people seeking emotional healing. I loved the daily bite size podcasts and the activities to integrate the healing. It wasn’t daunting to get going with the course at all. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who needs a bit of a kick up the bum to start focusing on healing, rather than staying stuck.

I am so grateful I took the plunge. I was in a desperate place & it has helped me to look at things differently. One time I woke up in a panic state & instead of the negativity & bad thoughts, I went straight to my notes for Day 5 and 6 especially and I turned that negative into positive and felt soo much better and happier. I was so proud of myself and if felt so good to be able to turn the thoughts around. Thank you so much Tecla, you have really helped me in a way I didn’t think was possible.

I’ve listened to the entire podcast now and it is fantastic!! So much thought and care has gone into this. Episode six particularly resonated with me, about how I’m showing up in the world. Tecla combines a ‘no nonsense approach’ with practical tips and lots of encouragement the way. I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone who is just starting their healing journey, or like me feeling lost and overwhelmed and needed a nudge back in the right direction.

I haven’t had this much breakthrough with any of my other practices, I can’t thank you enough Tecla honestly! I think I’ve realized now more than ever. My emotions are for sure the barrier and have been weighing me down for a long time! I feel so ready now and I think once that shift happens, it’s powerful! I’m so ready to heal and make the changes! Acceptance and release is key.

I experienced a huge release during an after including my symptoms feeling a lot lighter! I had a huge breakthrough. After the anger and pain, I almost became friends with the illness, I feel that so much weight has been removed, I asked that it no longer controls me and I released it. I feel like I truly believe I can heal now for the first time across the last two years of experiencing symptoms, I will no longer let it control me.

Tomorrow looks exactly like today, unless you do this.

You already know what happens if you don't change anything. You keep living this exact day, over and over.

Stressing over every symptom. The anxiety that doesn't let you rest. The obsessive thoughts, the guilt, the fear that something's going wrong.

Waking up each day hoping something will feel different… but deep down, knowing it won't. That's not just a bad week. That becomes your life.

Psychologists have a name for this: a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you expect things to stay the same, you start living in a way that keeps them the same. You stop making plans, stop trying new things and quietly collect proof that nothing changes.

Until you do something different. This podcast is that something different. And right now, it's your shot to interrupt the cycle, or repeat it again tomorrow.

Hi, I'm Tecla!

Not another “expert.” Someone who’s lived it and solved it.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with two chronic illnesses before 30.

I was a former NCAA D1 elite athlete and high-performing corporate professional. Pushing myself and my body to the absolute limit was my entire identity. And then it all broke down.

What I’m sharing over these 7 days was a key part of my own healing, and it’s also helped my clients make real, lasting progress.
